About Me.

"Do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life." I took that adage to heart when I chose my career path. I can easily lose hours of time working on getting something pixel perfect, so I changed my degree from Secondary Education in English, and graduated with my BFA in Art + Design from Avila University in 2010.
I began my career with millennial brand developer HypeLife Brands and then honed my skills as the in-house designer The Friends of Chamber Music. I've been fully freelance as of November of 2013 after the birth of my first child. Since that time, I've established itself as a dynamic design force in the non-profit and arts arenas while branching out to other local small businesses in the Kansas City area. I primarily produce promotional materials for print and items for digital advertising, but I will occasionally dabble in the dark arts known as web design. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching studio art, history, and coding at a homeschool co-op; nerding out over the golden age of piracy; reading ALL THE FANTASY NOVELS; and building blanket forts with my daughters.
